so. cold.
Spoiled San Diego child that I am, this 40-something degree weather right now is feeling pretty unkind & I can’t feel my toes! Thank goodness my dog is here. I use her like she’s my own personal portable heater & since she’s tired, she doesn’t even make a fuss about it :P going to bed with my dog lying by my feet and keeping me warm, I guess there could be worse...

In my whopping 4-5 hours of sleep I got last night, I dreamt about fair food for a good solid hour at least. I guess that means I’m excited for the fair? :P

I’ve tried to read Girl With the Dragon Tattoo probably around 3 or 4 times, but I could never get myself to get past the first 3 chapters. But now that it’s summer, I figured I’d take another crack at it. And whadaya know? I can’t put it down now! The magic of summer…. I always get in some good summer reads :)

it’s been a lovely 1st week of summer, but now I’m gonna go ahead & sleep for as long as I possibly can to try & recuperate :)

I could not be in any more shock and disbelief than I am right now. never would I ever have thought I’d get the opportunity to meet her & today I did :) it definitely makes up for the time that I came to her show, got sent to the riff raff room & got elbowed in the eye by a guy for a free t-shirt :D & I might possibly get to meet Jimmy Fallon? cross your finger...
it’s kind of ridiculous how happy I am about being able to just sleep in shorts & a tank top tonight, this weather has got me with a smile on my face :) summer is just around the corner & I am anxiously anticipating it!

I’m so jealous of anyone who gets to be sleeping in right now. my eyes are refusing to stay open, & it looks really cold outside. I think I’ll skip out on my math class a little early today to get in a little siesta time :)

of course I would be the one who stays up till 2am writing and trying to print her stupid english paper, and then show up 20 minutes early to school to find a parking spot way in the back, then show up to class only to realize that it’s canceled. fail. I didn’t have to show up to school till 11. :(

there’s just something about music that can make everything better. 2 weeks. I’m excited :)
still recovering from these past couple days, but I gotta say this past weekend has been the best! from getting lost by a huge Taco Bell office & finding the Irvine Spectrum on accident to the tour of Riverside & the amazing best friend nights, I had the greatest time :) hopefully there’ll be many more weekends like these to come :D
when you love somebody, you fight for the things that they don’t have the strength to fight for themselves. but what do you do when that someone becomes so self-destructive that they block you out & you become strangers? I’ve heard the phrase “never give more time to someone who is not willing to give you theirs”, but it’s all just a very sad way of going out....

I rang in the new year by taking care of a stanky crying baby. :P but let this new Benjamin in my wallet serve as a token of good fortune & wealth for my 2011 :) hope you all had a fun & safe new years!

that whole concept of ‘normal sleeping habits’ is completely elusive to me. I was so tired earlier but now I’m just sitting by my Christmas tree & listening to the sounds of the rain outside. I’m not sure when I’ll start to feel the exhaustion, but when it does it’s gonna hit me like a ton of bricks. until then, I hope you’re all sleeping tight &...
all I can say now is, “what was I thinking?!?!?” the past sometimes has a way of making you laugh at the times you thought were so serious :P
all you have to do is keep going, eventually you find a way to smile about it :)
is it ridiculous that I have 3 blankets on right now? 2 of which I’ve folded in half so it’s double the amount of layers. I’ve also contemplated wearing a beanie to sleep just to keep my ears warm at night :P
not complaining though, this weather gets me in the holiday spirit. unless of course it’s getting up for classes in this weather, but I just gotta hold out for...

I had this dream that I had already gotten past the school day today & was about to take a nap. then I woke up & realized that I hadn’t even gotten up for school yet :( yep, today is gonna be a long day :/

anyone else see New Kids on the Block on the American Music Awards with the Backstreet Boys? they may be middle-aged in the case of NKOTB and almost there with BSB, but that was my favorite part of the awards show :P I used to have this pink New Kids blanket that I always used when I was a kid, & eventhough they weren’t my favorite, who my age could deny that BSB was pretty huge growing...
I can feel my body protesting against having to get up. it is so dang cold this morning & that only makes me wanna stay in bed more. I’d ditch my 8am bio, but somehow I just can’t get myself to do it, I’m scared my professor is gonna randomly give away free exam points just for being in class (which she has done before). Then I have babysitting & then I hafta go to Mira...
uhhh, just spent the last hour watching old *N Sync tapes on VHS with my sister. I honestly don’t think there’s a better way to end a Sunday night :D the 90’s were a great time <3
had another amazing night hanging with my bestie at LeStat’s listening to the always awesome Tyler Hilton perform :D got to listen to some really great musicians/artists & got to meet some really cool & nice people, how much better could it be :)

just watched the final episode of Hannah Montana. I can’t believe it’s over :( yeah, you heard me. i’m 19, almost 20 & I’m gonna miss me some good ole Hannah Montana :P
oh me oh my, today would be a great day to sleep in & ditch my first class. but somehow I can never get myself to ditch it, the beauty of college is knowing that you can choose what classes you do or do not go to, but I always feel this twinge of guilt if I don’t :/ please let today go by quickly then!

is it too early to call a nap time for later? cuz I am in desperate need for some extra shut eye. hectic weekend & not enough recovery time, please let this Monday pass by quickly so I can get to siesta time sooner :)

Woot!
What started as a crappy morning filled with bio turned into an overall good day :) got to chill with Britt & help her shop for party supplies. then went to a Curtis Peoples & Josh Hoge show with Jess, & now we’re having a bestie sleepover!!! :D
damn. it’s seriously already time to get up for class? but it’s like the ass crack of dawn except even the dawn has some light. ohh myyy… well I hope it doesn’t rain cuz guess what, I don’t have an umbrella. you can’t shoot at an unarmed person, mother nature, ya hear me? dang, I ferreal need to find my umbrella! :P
